Telegram is the most popular way to use SuperIntern day to day. Run it in a private chat for personal delegation, or add it to a group to help your whole team.

Setup

  1. Search for @SuperInternBot on Telegram, or click the link shown in Settings → Integrations → Telegram in the web app.
  2. Start a chat and send /start.
  3. Follow the prompts to link your SuperIntern account.
Once linked, the Telegram icon in the web app sidebar turns green.

Private Chat

In a private DM with your intern, every message you send is a command — there’s no need to mention or tag it. Your intern responds to every message as your personal assistant, available 24/7:
Draft a LinkedIn post about our launch and show me before posting.
What's on my calendar tomorrow?
Remind me at 6pm to call the office.
Search for the latest news about our competitor and summarize it.
Reminders you set in Telegram are delivered back to you as Telegram messages at the scheduled time.

Group Chat

Add your intern to a Telegram group to assist the whole team. In groups, the bot only responds when mentioned with its handle — this keeps it from interrupting every message in a busy channel:
@YourIntern summarize the decisions we made in this thread.
@YourIntern create a task for John: finish the wireframes by Wednesday.
@YourIntern what did we decide about the API timeline last week?

Adding the bot to a group

In Telegram, open any group and add @SuperInternBot as a member. Your intern starts responding to @mentions immediately — no additional setup needed.

Ambient Mode

In private chats, you can enable Ambient Mode. Your intern monitors the conversation passively and only speaks up when it detects something truly relevant — a commitment you made, a deadline, a question it can answer. It stays quiet the rest of the time.
Enable ambient mode.
To return to normal mode (responding to every message), message the bot directly:
Disable ambient mode.
Ambient Mode is designed for private chats where you want passive monitoring without interrupting your own flow. It’s not available in groups.

Topics

SuperIntern supports Telegram’s group topics. Each topic carries its own context — different topics can run different ongoing tasks or track separate workflows. Your intern keeps topic conversations separate and won’t bleed context from one topic into another.
There is a per-plan limit on the number of simultaneous topic connections. See Billing for details.

What Stays in Sync

Sessions, tasks, memories, and contacts created in Telegram are fully synced with the web app and all other connected channels. Start a research task in Telegram, check its status in Discord, review the result on the web — everything lives in one place.

Useful Commands

CommandWhat it does
/startLink your account or restart the bot
/helpList available commands
For everything else, just talk naturally — commands are rarely needed.
Keep your intern in Telegram even if you use the web app regularly. Telegram is the fastest way to send a quick delegation without opening a browser.
